Upper Delbrook is neighbourhood that is just north of Delbrook and sits in between Forest Hills and Upper Lonsdale. This neighbourhood sits right at the base of Mount Froome and is one of the furthest north areas in North Vancouver. Its close proximity to the mountain creates a calm, peaceful environment. With access to many outdoor activities, it is an ideal place for many families to raise their children.
Neighbourhood amenities
Upper Delbrook is one of the highest points in North Vancouver, giving many of the homes in this neighbourhood a fantastic view of the Downtown Vancouver Harbour. This makes it a desirable location because it is close to many different amenities, the city, and schools with views unique to the neighbourhood.
Upper Delbrook is only a short drive to Grouse Mountain, but many residents prefer to access it instead via the extensive network of trails that run throughout the North Shore Mountains. There are many trails that start at the end of cul-de-sacs in this neighbourhood, giving many residents in Upper Delbrook direct access to great hikes right in their backyards. During winter months, skiers and snowboarders can find themselves on top of Grouse Mountain within 15 minutes. Other parks that are in close proximity include: Braemar Park, Princess Park and Mosquito Creek Park. There is no lack of green space in this neighbourhood and residents can enjoy outdoor activities year round.
Delbrook Community Centre is located south of the neighbourhood and offers a wonderful gathering place alongside facilities such as a fitness centre, gymnasiums, tennis courts, and a dance studio.

Transit
Delbrook Ave and Montroyal Ave are the two major roads that are used to get onto Highway 1. These are the easiest and most direct ways for drivers to get around. In addition, there are bus routes that run along these main roads which transfer transit users from Upper Delbrook to the Lonsdale Quay.
Upper Delbrook Real Estate
This is one of North Vancouver’s more prestigious neighbourhoods. The real estate market in this area is primarily made up of detached houses.
