Garden Village is a quiet suburban neighbourhood of single family homes and a few townhouse developments, close to shopping parks and schools. It is bounded by Willingdon Avenue and Inman Street, Moscrop and Burke streets. It’s centrally located to two elementary schools, Moscrop Secondary School, BCIT as well as major employers like Burnaby Hospital, EA Sports and Pacific Blue Cross.
Neighbourhood amenities
Garden Village is close to pretty much any shopping, dining or recreational amenity you desire. Wesburn Park, in the neighbourhood’s northwest corner, is a focal point for recreational soccer on the weekends. It also has a wading pool, playground and small community centre. Nearby, Central Park is Burnaby’s forested jewel, with kilometres of walking trails, a pitch ’n putt golf course, tennis courts, playgrounds and two duck ponds.
Dining and shopping choices abound along the Kingsway commercial corridor, including three shopping malls, the Old Orchard plaza, as well as numerous independent shops, services and restaurants.

Transit
Garden Village has excellent access to bus routes that cut through the middle of the neighbourhood as well as along its perimeter. These buses connect to SkyTrain stations at Metrotown and Patterson. Access to major thoroughfares like Highway 1 and Kingsway is also quick and convenient.
Garden Village real estate
Detached houses for sale make up the majority of the residential real estate market in this area. Condos and Townhouses have been limited in sales for the past five years.
