Point Grey is one of Vancouver’s most prestigious neighbourhoods with spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. The neighbourhood is unique as it features some of the most park space in one area. Point Grey is located along the northern shore of English bay between Alma St and the Spanish Banks Creek until it splits at W 4th and Blanca St. Blanca St becomes the western borders and runs all the way south until W 16th Ave. Point Grey is sought out by families as a great place to raise children.

Point Grey’s most notable park is Jericho Beach Park. It is a popular destination in the summer months for locals and visitors. It features a beautiful beach and great sailing, which attract people from all around the world. The park also offers other great recreational amenities such as tennis courts, walking trails, picnic areas, sports fields, bird-watching and ultimate frisbee fields. Jericho is also home to the Jericho Sailing Club, The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and the Jericho Tennis Club. This is Point Grey’s crown and jewel for many outdoor enthusiasts and water sports lovers. Locarno Beach Park is located just west of Jericho Beach and offers similar amenities. It is a popular destination for beach volleyball, windsurfing and includes an off-leash area for dog owners. In addition, many residents living in Point Grey have quick and easy access to Pacific Spirit Park with an extensive network of trails that run through large forested areas. Along W 4th St, there is a commercial district with numerous restaurants, cafes and bars designed to cater to the locals living in the surrounding neighbourhoods.

Point Grey Rd and West 4th Ave are great east-west thoroughfares that lead into the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Residents have easy access to these roads as well as it is well serviced by bus routes that connect transit users from Point Grey to Downtown. W Broadway and W 16th Ave are also great roads that offer similar features as Point Grey Rd and W 4th Ave.
