W 37th Ave is Kerrisdale’s northern border which extends from Cypress and Blenheim St. The southern border is marked by SW Marine Dr, W 49th Ave and then veers off along East Blvd until it meets the corner of Cypress St and W 57th Ave creating a triangle shaped area. Kerrisdale is an affluent residential neighbourhood with high end commercial districts along W 41st. It served as one of the first established neighbourhoods in Vancouver and acted as a gateway to the canneries located along the Fraser River. Kerrisdale has two main shopping districts. Point Grey Golf and Country Club as well as McCleery Golf Course are also nearby.
