South Vancouver is located at the most South-western point of Vancouver East. It is a multiculturally rich neighbourhood with great shops, stores and restaurants. The Punjab Market and can be seen along 50th and Main St and is a one of a kind area with sweets, food, Indian markets, and much more readily available. It has become a cultural attraction for locals, visitors and tourists alike. In fact, the Punjab Market has the highest density of jewellers on one street in Canada.
Sunset Community Centre can be found just south of the Punjab Market and serves the community with a fitness centre, multipurpose gymnasiums, programs for the elderly and houses the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre where Sunset Arena can also be found for those who love to skate, play hockey or just want to spend some time on the ice.
