Champlain Heights is located in the most south-eastern corner of Vancouver East and is bounded by the East 54th Ave line to the north and by the Fraser River to the south. Kerr St and Boundary road make up its western and eastern borders respectively. Champlain Heights is also commonly referred to as Killarney and is home to Vancouver’s 5th largest park. This was one of the last neighbourhoods to be redeveloped in Vancouver. While it may not be home to as many heritage homes as other neighbourhoods, it’s tree lined streets offer unique 1920’s farm houses and great recreational green spaces. The cul-de-sac filled streets and winding rows are one of the most unique features of the neighbourhood, but often leave visitors temporarily turned around.
