Moody Park is a small family neighbourhood along the northern edge of New Westminster. It shares its name with the large, diverse park that is at the heart of the city. The neighbourhood’s perimeter is dotted with numerous mom-and-pop shops. It’s right next to the Uptown business district with an array of shopping, restaurants, cafés and services.
Neighbourhood amenities
Moody Park is a large, diverse park where kids can play organized soccer, baseball and lacrosse. Adults populate the softball diamonds, tennis courts and lawn bowls. Seniors enjoy activities at Century House. The park also features an outdoor swimming pool, spray park and playground, as well as a fenced-in area where dogs are permitted to run free and play without a leash.
The neighbourhood is well-served by transit, with bus connections to two SkyTrain stations. But almost everything you could need is within walking distance at the Uptown business district which includes the Royal City Centre shopping mall. New Westminster’s main library branch is right across the street.

Transit
There are major bus routes that run along the perimeter of the neighbourhood which residents can take to 22nd, New Westminster or Columbia SkyTrain Stations. The Patullo Bridge is located nearby and Kingsway is right around the corner giving commuters in this neighbourhood central access to Surrey and Vancouver.

Moody Park has a diverse mix of new and old detached homes and condos for sale. The majority of the market in this area is made up of detached houses. Condos are limited in supply.
