Burnaby East is a suburban neighbourhood in the city’s northeast corner, along the border with New Westminster, between Cumberland Street and Canada Way. It is mostly comprised of single-family homes, with a few newer townhouse developments.
Neighbourhood amenities
This quiet neighbourhood is close to handy to two of Burnaby’s best parks.

A lively commercial district along 6th Street bisects the neighbourhood. Multi-cultural shops, restaurants and groceries cater to almost every taste. At the top of 6th Street, the neighbouring Edmonds area offers even more options, including a public library and community centre.

There are many bus routes surrounding Burnaby East, which service destinations to different Skytrain Stations around the Lower Mainland. McBride Blvd is a great road to use to get on the Patullo Bridge, and Kingsway is just seconds away from Burnaby East and is a great route to get into Vancouver.
