Neighbourhood amenities
Suncrest is close to some of Burnaby’s best recreational and natural parks. The Riverway Sports Complex is just at the base of the neighbourhood. Its soccer pitches, ball diamonds and outdoor lacrosse box are an allure to recreational athletes young and old. Just across Marine Way, the Riverway Golf Club is a championship caliber municipal course with rolling bunkers and undulating greens, a driving range as well as a beautiful new clubhouse featuring a full service restaurant, banquet service and snack bar.
Just a short distance from Suncrest’s norther edge, Central Park is Burnaby’s largest urban park. Walking trails crisscross beneath majestic cedars, ducks paddle in two ponds and tai chi enthusiasts pierce the morning mist during their daily workouts. The park features a nine-hole par three golf course, an outdoor pool, tennis courts and Swangard Stadium, that hosts community festivals as well as sporting events.
