Burnaby – Greentree Village

4032-4296 Wayburne Dr, Burnaby, BC V5G, Canada

Greentree Village is a small enclave of single family homes and townhomes located between BCIT and the sprawling Forest Lawn Memorial Park. It is bordered by Wayburne and Royal Oak drives, Canada Way and the Deer Lake Parkway.
This is another great suburban neighbourhood to raise a family but at much more affordable price.

Neighbourhood amenities

Greentree Village is an established neighbourhood of quiet, tree-lined streets that is centrally-located to many of Burnaby’s considerable amenities.

For commuters, it’s a quick scoot onto Highway 1.
For nature and culture lovers, it’s adjacent to Deer Lake Park with its kilometres of easy walking trails surrounding eponymous Deer Lake where eagles soar, ducks skim the water and beavers climb the shore. The park is also Burnaby’s cultural hub with galleries and performance spaces in the Shadbolt Centre, the renowned Burnaby Art Gallery in historic Ceperley Mansion, a gently sloping festival lawn that hosts concerts through the summer and the Burnaby Village Museum, which recreates the city as it might have been in the 1920s.

For shoppers, Greentree Village is handy to the bustling Metrotown commercial district where three shopping malls side by side by side and smaller independent shops, restaurants and services line Kingsway. It’s also close to the booming Brentwood and SoLo districts which are undergoing tremendous development to bring even more shopping choice like an expansive Whole Foods grocery store.
