Cambie is a beautiful residential neighbourhood with great shopping, stunning parks and amenities perfect for people from all walks of life. Cambie lies between W 16th and W 41st Ave and runs from Ontario St to Oak St. The Canada Line, running through Cambie St, has redeveloped the area creating pockets of commercial communities. Great parks and outdoor space can be found all around the neighbourhood and are perfect for families, young professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Cambie has everything anyone needs, is in close proximity to great schools, parks, shopping, transit and other essentials.

Neighbourhood Amenities

Cambie is known for its beautiful parks, most notably Queen Elizabeth Park. A 130-acre park, it is situated on Little Mountain with amazing scenic views of Downtown Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. Other things to see in Queen Elizabeth Park include the Rose Garden, Vancouver’s 1st Arboretum, the Bloedel Plaza and Fountain, Quarry Garden and the Painter’s Corner. Visitors to the park can take advantage of its disc golf course, pitch and putt course, picnic areas, walking trails and Seasons in the Park Restaurant. On the north-east corner of Queen Elizabeth Park is Nat Bailey stadium where the Vancouver Canadians, a professional baseball team, play their home games. It is a great spot to spend a beautiful summer day watching baseball and eating hot dogs. In addition, Oak Meadow Park and VanDusen Botanical Gardens can be found near the western border of the neighbourhood.
The arrival of the Canada Line has revitalized many of the business districts found along Cambie St. Great neighbourhood shops, restaurants, cafes and bars can be found throughout. Oakridge Centre can be found on corner of Cambie and 41st Ave and offers upscale shopping. In addition, an outlet mall can be found on the corner of King Edward and Oak St which houses a Safeway.
UBC is only about 20 minutes away from Cambie and is a great option for students looking for a place to live during the school year

Residents living in Cambie have quick and easy access to the Canada Line running through Cambie St. The area is also well serviced by bus. Drivers have access to east-west thoroughfares such as 41st, 33rd, 16th, 49th and Broadway St. Cambie St is a great North-south corridor that offers drivers quick and easy access into and out of Richmond.
